wallPen ID – frequently asked questions
What is the wallPen ID?
The wallPen ID is your customer account at wallPen. A single sign-in at id.wallpen.com gives access to the shop and to the wallPen Hub (hub.wallpen.com). There is no separate shop password: signing in to the shop takes you automatically to the wallPen ID and then back to the shop.
How do I get a wallPen ID?
Open the sign-in in the shop and choose registration on the sign-in page. Once the form is completed, an email with a confirmation link is sent; the account becomes active only after that link has been clicked. If no email arrives, check the spam folder.
What should I pay attention to when registering?
The email address matters most. Register with your company address (for example name@company.com), not with a private address from Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo or similar providers. The shop assigns the account to the right company automatically by its domain; with a private address this does not work and the account has to be approved manually.
Each person should create their own account instead of sharing one. Several employees of a company can each have their own wallPen ID; the company's approval applies to all of them automatically.
Existing customers may already have a wallPen ID. In that case, do not register again; sign in or reset the password instead.
Forgotten or changing your password
On the sign-in page, choose the link to reset the password, enter your email address and follow the link in the email you receive. This is also the way to change an existing password.
Why does the shop say “For certified wallPen operators.” and the item cannot be added to the cart?
wallPen supplies inks, spare parts and consumables only to companies certified as wallPen operators. The notice appears when the shop cannot recognise this authorisation. There are three possible reasons:
- You are not signed in. After signing in with your wallPen ID the notice disappears, provided your company is certified.
- You are signed in, but your account is not yet assigned to a company, usually because of a private or new email address. The link “Assign your company” then appears below the notice. Enter the company name and tax ID (EIN) there. If tax ID and email domain match a certified company, the account is activated immediately. Otherwise wallPen checks the details manually and activates the account promptly.
- Your company itself is not yet certified. In that case the wallPen service will help: corp@wallpen.com.
What can be ordered without a wallPen ID?
Merchandise and the reservation of the wallPen E2 can be ordered without an account. When ordering, you confirm that you are purchasing for business purposes: the shop supplies business customers only, and all prices are net, excluding sales tax and shipping. If a wallPen ID already exists for the email address entered, the shop asks you to sign in so that the order is assigned to the right customer account.
Why is the wallPen E2 reservation not visible?
The reservation is intended for new customers. Customers who have already bought from wallPen do not see it in the shop.
How do I get access to the wallPen Hub?
The Hub is accessible by invitation only; a wallPen ID alone is not enough. The wallPen service sends the invitation on request.
