Protective covers for the laser distance sensors. The sensors measure the gap to the wall continuously and keep the print head at exactly the right distance. Direct sunlight can affect the optics. The result is measuring errors that can throw off the distance between print head and wall. Each cover is fitted with a single screw in seconds and comes off just as quickly when it is not needed.
